Objections aren’t roadblocks. They’re opportunities to lead.

Most reps and coaches get nervous when a customer says, “I need to think about it” or “I just don’t have the money right now.”

Here’s what separates the real sales pros from the rest:

They don’t react.

They don’t push.

They lead the conversation with confidence.

And that’s exactly what we are covering today.

My Core 3 Rules for Handling Objections Like a Pro

Confidence is everything:

Objection handling isn’t about word-for-word scripts. It’s about how you show up. If you’re uneasy or hesitant, your prospect will sense it and shut down. Lead with certainty and conviction in what you’re saying.

Isolate the REAL Concern:

Most objections are surface-level smoke screens. Your job is to get to the core of the issue. Ask direct, clarifying questions:

✔️ “If money wasn’t a factor, is there anything else holding you back?”

✔️ “What exactly do you mean when you say you ‘need to think about it’?”


Pre-Handle Objections Before They Even Come Up:

Great sales reps predict objections and eliminate them early.

If you know “I need to talk to my spouse” is a common one, bring it up before they do. Ask:

✔️ “What would your spouse need to see to feel comfortable with this?”

Pre-handling objections keep you in control and prevents resistance later on.
